COMBAT PATROL: ADEPTUS CUSTODES
Muster an elite shield company with Warhammer 40,000 Combat Patrol: Adeptus Custodes. Few warriors in the Imperium can match the individual skill, resilience, and lethality of the Emperor's golden guardians, and this boxed set brings together a compact but exceptionally powerful force for your tabletop battles.
Led by a Shield-Captain, the force combines durable Sentinel Guard, highly mobile Venatari, and a formidable Contemptor Dreadnought. Together, the 11 multipart plastic miniatures form a complete force for Combat Patrol games while also providing an excellent foundation for starting or expanding a larger Adeptus Custodes army.
The set offers extensive customization, including alternate Venatari weapons and the option to build the included Dreadnought as either a Contemptor-Achillus or Contemptor-Galatus.

Muster Your Shield Company
The Adeptus Custodes organize their warriors into shield companies composed of some of the Imperium's most formidable fighters.
Although Custodes armies are typically small in number, each warrior possesses extraordinary combat ability.
This Combat Patrol reflects that elite nature by combining several specialized units into a compact strike force capable of threatening enemies both at range and in melee.
Shield-Captain
Leading the force is an illustrious Shield-Captain.
The Shield-Captain provides a commanding centerpiece for the army and can be assembled with either:
Use this model to lead your golden warriors into battle and provide a visual focal point for the collection.
6 Sentinel Guard Sodality
The infantry core consists of 6 Sentinel Guard Sodality miniatures armed with:
-
Praesidium Shields
-
Sentinel Blades
Their combination of defensive equipment and powerful weaponry makes them an imposing presence when contesting important areas of the battlefield.
One Sentinel Guard can exchange their Praesidium Shield for a Magisterium Vexilla, while wielding either a Sentinel Blade or Misericordia in the other hand.
Sentinel Guard Customization
The kit includes:
These options provide plenty of opportunities to individualize each Custodian.
3 Venatari
The set includes 3 Venatari, bringing speed and mobility to a force otherwise built around exceptionally durable warriors.
They can be equipped as Venatari with Kinetic Destroyers, armed with:
-
Tarsus Bucklers
-
Kinetic Destroyers
Alternatively, all three can be built with two-handed Verutum Lances.
This gives you two visually and tactically distinct ways to construct the unit.
Neutronium Cascade Mines
Each Venatari can carry an optional Neutronium Cascade Mine on their hip.
One model can instead be assembled carrying the device in their hand, providing an additional posing option.
Venatari Customization
The Venatari include numerous interchangeable parts, including:
-
5 Heads
-
3 Tarsus Bucklers
-
4 Jump Harnesses
-
6 Left Shoulder Pads
-
6 Right Shoulder Pads
These options allow you to vary the appearance of all three models.
Contemptor-Achillus Dreadnought
Providing heavy support is a powerful Contemptor-Achillus Dreadnought.
The model is highly poseable and offers extensive weapon and cosmetic customization.
The Achillus configuration carries its signature spear, with a choice of 2 spear heads.
Its arm-mounted weapons can include:
The left hand can also be assembled either open or closed.
Build a Contemptor-Galatus
Rather than building the Achillus, the kit can alternatively construct a Contemptor-Galatus Dreadnought.
The Galatus carries:
-
Warblade
-
Praesidium Shield
This provides a dramatically different appearance and allows you to choose which Dreadnought pattern best suits your collection.
Dreadnought Customization
Additional cosmetic options include:
Combined with the highly poseable construction, these components provide plenty of freedom when creating your Dreadnought.
A Complete Combat Patrol
Together, the units provide a varied Adeptus Custodes force containing:
The entire collection forms a complete army for Combat Patrol, making this box an excellent entry point for players starting Adeptus Custodes.
Expand Your Adeptus Custodes Army
The models are also fully usable as part of a larger Warhammer 40,000 army.
Use the Combat Patrol as the foundation for a growing shield company or add it to an existing collection to reinforce your forces with additional infantry, Venatari, and Dreadnought support.
Adeptus Custodes Transfer Sheet
