The booster box mascot for this set is the iconic PIASA BIRD - a dragon-like creature from Native American mythology who was also featured in MetaZoo's base set, Cryptid Nation. The iconic WENDIGO from MetaZoo's Nightfall set also makes appearance, very fitting since it is a mythological creature or evil spirit originating from the folklore of Plains and Great Lakes Natives. Chibis also make a reappearance in this set with Chibi Wendigo, & Chibi Uktena, and at this point a few Chibis in each set is MetaZoo tradition welcomed by fans.

Players AND collectors are both very excited about the debut inclusion of 'Fusion Auras' in this set, MetaZoo's version of dual lands. These Earth infused Special Aura cards follow the tradition of Prism Aura in Wilderness, Neutrality Totality in UFO and Possessed Aura in Seance - heavily impacting gameplay and now allowing players many more options when it comes to deck building with multiple aura types! This set features all the Earth fusion auras since this is an Earth aura based set. The next time MetaZoo will have Fusion Auras will be the water cycle in their SEVEN SEAS set coming out next year. These gorgeous full art holo cards are a wonder to behold, and it's clear that MetaZoo has once again improved their foiling techniques even more. Once again the holos in this set are unique - many Native symbols and motifs can be found in each card's holo pattern! Similar to how Nightfall's holo had skulls and bats and Wilderness had leaves and trees, this helps set the set apart and provides a unique experience for fans.

As with every main set, MetaZoo has included the option of Spellbooks. Spellbooks are a great option for new players looking to build their own deck as they come with 10 Native Booster Packs, sleeves and a deck of Aura Cards. These Aura are very important to play the game as every deck usually needs at least 10 of the required Aura, and with a whole deck of them you can experiment with splashing other Aura types and building dual or tri-aura decks! As mentioned above, the special Fusion Auras in this set make certain diverse deck types even more possible to create.

Release Event Decks are a special product MetaZoo has for each main set, containing 1 of 5 specific decks and 3 booster packs of the new set. Players are often excited about the unique playable cards that are featured in these. Each of the 5 decks comes with a special full holo promo Beastie card - a deck leader to lead your other Beasties into battle.

With MetaZoo's competitive scene heating up going into the Earth Tower, this is the perfect time for Native to release. Being an Earth-focused set, there are many directions for deck brewers and builders to go in, and this is offering a brand new sense of excitement in the MetaZoo community. As can be seen in the Native Theme Decks below, there are several new options like Water / Light &  Frost / Forest.
