**Tournament Rules**
Forces
Players must create an 1100-point list using Core Platoon Selectors from the 3rd Edition Rulebook (pg. 182).
Maximum 18 Order Dice per list.
Miniatures must be WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get), except for approved thematic or artistic ‘counts as’ models. Please seek pre-approval for any exceptions.
What to Bring:
3rd Edition Rulebook, Army Book, Objective Markers, Order Dice, D6, and a Tape Measure.
If using an army builder app, ensure lists are accurate and compliant with tournament rules. Submit your list early to avoid last-minute corrections.
Game Time
Games will be limited to 2 hours and 30 minutes. The last die must be drawn by the 145-minute mark (2 hours and 15 minutes). Players must complete the current turn once the last die is drawn, and then the game ends automatically.
Army List Submission
Submit your finalized army list before the tournament.
Lists must remain unchanged for the duration of the tournament.
Force lists are public, and opponents may review them and ask questions during the event.
Match-Ups
Game 1 pairings will be random.
Subsequent rounds will follow a Swiss System, pairing players with similar Tournament Points (TP) and Casualty Points.
Scenarios
The following scenarios from the 3rd Edition Rulebook will be played. Please do not adjust pre-set terrain.
Game 1: Key Positions
Deployment: Meeting Engagement
Zone: Long Edges
Game 2: Hold Until Relieved
Deployment: Fog of War
Zone: Quarters
Game 3: Breakthrough
Deployment: Prepared Positions
Zone: Long Edge
**Scoring**
Tournament Points (TP)
Victory: 3 TP
Draw: 1 TP
Loss: 0 TP
Casualty Points
Players record the number of Order Dice of enemy units destroyed. These points will serve as tiebreakers for pairings and final rankings.
Tie-Breaker Rules
If players have the same TP and Casualty Points:
Compare results of previous matches between tied players.
If they have not played each other, they will share the victory.
Winning the Tournament
The tournament winner will be determined as follows:
Most Tournament Points (TP).
Highest Casualty Points if TP is tied.
Results of direct matches.
Joint winners if no direct match occurred.
A Note on Historicity
This event embraces a relaxed, fun-first atmosphere. While historical accuracy isn’t required, players are encouraged to create forces they enjoy. Matches between similar factions (e.g., two US forces) can be imagined as training exercises, hypothetical engagements, or “what-if” scenarios.
