Hail Caesar Roman Primus Pilus

The Primus Pilus was a prestigious and senior rank within the Roman legion, referring to the highest-ranking centurion of a Roman legion. The term "Primus Pilus" translates to "first spear" or "first javelin," indicating the importance and leadership role of this position. The Primus Pilus commanded the first cohort and played a crucial role in the command structure of the legion.

The Legion’s first cohort was, at 800 men, larger than the others and led by the primus pilus – a career soldier and advisor to the legate himself. He was the Legion's senior Centurion and outranked by only a handful of officers.

This hoary, dramatically-posed veteran is just what you want to lead your best Cohort. Of course he can also be used as a regular centurion in your other units!
