Tamiya TAM14109 KAWASAKI NINJA ZX-RR (1/12) New

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-RR is a Japanese racing motorcycle that was first presented to the public in 2002. The motor belongs to the Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle family.

The ZX-RR model was designed and manufactured for MotoGP racing (former 500 class). The propulsion was initially a 990cc engine, which was later replaced by a 794cc unit. Both units were 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled, the first of which generated as much as 240 HP. The motorcycle also uses all types of materials and light metals on a large scale, including composite materials, which allowed to reduce the weight of the dry bike to only 145 kilograms. This powerful machine also received adequate, very effective and powerful brakes from Brembo. Considering all this, it is not surprising that the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-RR was able to accelerate to 320 km / h, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h - not officially announced by the manufacturer - probably oscillated around 2.5 seconds!
