The 106mm Recoilless on a Short Wheel Base Landrover 88 has seen extensive Aussie service, being useful as both an anti-bunker, as well as an anti-tank, weapon.

The ‘Gun Buggy’ provides a potent weapon that is lethal against both medium and light armour. The dual purpose HEP-T (High Explosive Plastic-Tracer) rounds are especially prized for their bunkerbusting abilities by the more creative ‘Diggers’. An ideal weapon for an ambush.
