1.What is Axis & Allies?
Axis & Allies is a board game that simulates World War II on a global scale. It was first published in 1981 by Milton Bradley Company and has since been reprinted several times. The game is designed for two to five players and typically takes several hours to play.
In Axis & Allies, each player takes on the role of a major power from the war: either the Axis powers (Germany, Japan, and Italy) or the Allied powers (United States, Great Britain, and the Soviet Union). The game is played on a map of the world divided into territories, each of which represents a different region or country.
Players take turns moving their military forces and attacking their opponents, using a combination of infantry, tanks, aircraft, and naval units. The game also includes economic and strategic elements, such as the production of resources, research and development of technology, and the negotiation of alliances.
The ultimate goal of the game is to control a certain number of victory cities, which are represented on the game board. The first player to capture a predetermined number of victory cities wins the game.
