WARHAMMER FANTASY ROLEPLAY - VOL 3 ARCHIVES OF THE EMPIRE HC

A new collection of varied and themed items for Warhammer Fantasy

Archives of the Empire: Volume III is a diverse collection of fascinating articles. This time, Isabella focuses on the activities of merchants and popular cults prevalent in many rural regions of the Empire. Several minor beliefs are explored in detail and forgotten beliefs are scrutinized.

Content :
  • Legitimate business enterprises. A guide to starting a trading business in the Empire, with details on how to make a profit and grow from a modest situation to a powerful business.
  • The cult of Handrich, god of commerce. Old world merchants seek Handrich's blessing in their dealings, but his worship is recent and his priests are rarely encountered outside of Marienburg.
  • Popular cult and hedge magic. Special attention is paid to the beliefs and traditions of those living in the rural regions of the Empire. The Old Faith is a tradition of the ancients who lived before the rise of Sigmar, and whose relevance and power has now faded. The practice of hedge magic is described in detail, with several new spells. Minor gods, such as Khaine, are discussed.
  • The cult of Solkan, god of vengeance. Although a forgotten deity, whose Puritan creed is too strict and uncompromising for most people, Solkan promises aid to those who seek to exact divine punishment.
  • The cult of Rhya, goddess of fertility. Called upon by those who till the soil and herd the sheep, Rhya may seem a distant deity to the townspeople of the Empire, but in the countryside, understanding her customs is often the difference between life and death.
  • Rule updates and additions. The archives also include new rules for different armor designs, more minor magical effects, pets for wizards and magicians, updated starting skills and talents for characters from the different districts of Altdorf, and Lord Adalbert Knopp-Itzel, a quixotic champion of the Jungfreud cause.
