The Honda NSR500 is a Japanese racing motorcycle that was first introduced to the public in 1984 and raced from 1984 to 2002. It was developed to replace the successful NS500 model. Unlike its predecessor, it was powered by a highly technologically advanced 4-cylinder 500cc two-valve per cylinder engine. The NSR500 model was also characterized by great performance, very good traction properties and at least good reliability.
