BASIC INSTRUCTIONS
FOR USE 1. Cut the sticker as close to the outer edge of the image as possible out of. For better results, use a brand new blade.
2.- Pick up the sticker with your tweezers and soak it in water for about 20 seconds. Warm water can help with this process.
3. Use a brush to gently press the decal off the plate onto the model.

ADVANCED INSTRUCTIONS
FOR USE 4.- Before applying to the model, after the decal has soaked long enough, apply some GSW Decal Fixer to the surface of the model where you want to fix your decal. The GSW Decal Fixer protects the paint underneath and smoothes the surface, preventing silvering. Using a brush, gently press the decal off the plate onto the model. If the decal is difficult to move, adding a little more GSW Decal Fixer or water will help the decal float on the surface until it is positioned correctly.
5.- If the surface where you want to apply the flat decal is curved, like a shoulder pad, the decal may wrinkle. To avoid this, apply GSW Decal Softener once your decal is in place. Allow the softener to react and it will help remove wrinkles as it conforms to the curved surface underneath. Repeat this step 2-3 times until the wrinkles are gone. Remove excess with a cotton swab to remove liquid between the decal and the surface. Roll the swab over the decal to keep it from lifting off the surface. You can also use a paper towel to press down on the decal in a rolling motion to remove excess liquid.
6.- Finally we apply GSW Decal Fixer again on the decal and on the surface of the model we have been working on to unify the surface. Coat it with matte or gloss varnish as usual if you find it necessary to remove or add a glossy finish.
