Tamiya TAM14057 HONDA VFR750R (1/12)
The Honda VFR800 is a Japanese sports touring motorcycle that was first presented to the public in 1998. Its production started at the same time and is still going on.
The VFR800 was developed and put into production to strengthen Honda's position in the segment as well as to replace the VFR750F in its commercial offering. The drive was a 4-cylinder, 16-valve liquid-cooled engine with a power of 109-110 HP, with cylinders made in the technology of sintered ceramics. Advanced electronics were also used, with a computer controlling the power supply and ignition of each cylinder. Compared to the VFR750F model, the style of the motorcycle has also changed.
The motorcycle, although classified as a sports-touring one, offers superbike performance - it can accelerate to 240 km / h, and its acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is only 3.1 seconds! All of this makes the Honda VFR800 one of the best bikes in its class. It is worth adding that it is often used by the Japanese police.
