The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-17F "Fresco" is a Soviet jet fighter developed in the early 1950s as an evolution of the successful MiG-15. The MiG-17F became one of the most widely used jet fighters of its time, known for its improved aerodynamics, speed, and agility. The "Fresco" variant was equipped with a more powerful engine, the VK-1F, which featured an afterburner, significantly enhancing its performance. The MiG-17F saw extensive combat use, particularly during the Vietnam War, where it was operated by the North Vietnamese Air Force.
