When combined with the G-Defenser, a specialized support craft, the two units form the "Super Gundam," enhancing the Gundam Mk-II's speed, firepower, and overall combat effectiveness. The G-Defenser adds long-range firepower with a large beam cannon and missile pods, making the Super Gundam a formidable force in both space and atmospheric combat.
