About the Vehicle:
The GAT-X102 Duel Gundam is one of the five prototype mobile suits developed by the Earth Alliance in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. Piloted by ZAFT's Yzak Joule after being stolen from the Earth Alliance, the Duel Gundam is designed as a highly versatile unit focused on close-quarters combat. Later in the series, the Duel Gundam is upgraded with the Assaultshroud—a heavy armor pack that significantly boosts its defensive and offensive capabilities. The Assaultshroud adds missile pods, additional thrusters, and heavy armor plating to the Duel Gundam, turning it into a tank-like mobile suit capable of withstanding heavy fire while delivering powerful attacks with its beam rifle, beam sabers, and shoulder-mounted cannon.
About the Model:
This Master Grade (MG) 1:100 scale model kit of the Duel Gundam Assaultshroud offers a detailed and articulated build, capturing the dual-mode versatility of the mobile suit. The model features snap-fit parts that require no glue, making it accessible for builders of all skill levels. The internal frame allows for full articulation, enabling dynamic poses in both standard Duel Gundam mode and with the Assaultshroud armor equipped.
The kit comes with a variety of accessories, including the Duel Gundam's beam rifle, beam sabers, shield, and shoulder-mounted cannon, along with the full Assaultshroud armor set. The Assaultshroud parts can be attached and removed, allowing for multiple display options. Duel Gundam has a highly articulate inner frame that is not hindered much when armor is applied. Speaking of armor, this Duel Gundam comes with its Assault Shroud which is another set of heavy armor. The Assault Shroud can mountits rifle on the shoulder, and has an openable hatch that reveals missile pods, plus movable thrusters.
