Flames of War 2nd Armored Division Army Deal
The 2nd Armored Division, also known as "Hell on Wheels," was one of the most distinguished armored divisions of the United States Army during World War II. Following this, the division played a critical role in the invasion of Sicily in 1943.

Landing in Normandy on June 9, three days after the initial invasion, the division was pivotal in breaking through German defenses in the hedgerows and pushing towards the Seine River. The division continued its advance across France, Belgium, and into Germany, participating in key battles such as the Battle of the Bulge.
The 2nd Armored Division was known for its aggressive and successful tactics, often spearheading the Allied advance with its tanks, infantry, and artillery. The division earned its nickname "Hell on Wheels" due to its relentless drive and effectiveness in mobile warfare. By the war's end, the division had earned a reputation for its fighting spirit and had become one of the most celebrated American armored divisions of the conflict.
