Dungeons and dragons are an RPG (Roleplaying) game which lets you take control of a character in a fantasy adventure setting. Individuals can partner up with friends and create a party to take on the challenges of the created world ahead of them. There is typically a Game Master who will orchestrate and guide the party through their challenges, providing them with a variety of twists and turns and options that can affect the outcome of the game. Dungeons and dragons do not take much to get started, and the imagination aspect of it allows for great replay ability and hours of fun!

Generally speaking, any group of individuals can hop online together and play for free using many of the online apps and programs available. However, there is also a paid option in some cases. Individuals who may not have groups can join online pick up groups with random players, typically involving a small fee towards the Game master for hosting and running the event for their time.
