Return Of The Gods

Awaken the power of the Egyptian God Cards! If you've ever wanted to build a Deck around an Egyptian God Card but didn't know where to start, look no further than the Egyptian God Decks! Egyptian God Deck: Slifer the Sky Dragon and Egyptian God Deck: Obelisk the Tormentor serve up simple strategies to Summon and win with either Slifer the Sky Dragon or Obelisk the Tormentor.

Anime Inspired Flavor

The fascinating aspect of the Egyptian God Decks lies in their innovative approach to anime-inspired deck concepts. Unlike the decks associated with Yugi and Kaiba, these decks deviate from the inclusion of iconic cards like Dark Magician or Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Instead, their primary focus revolves around the summoning of Slifer the Sky Dragon or Obelisk the Tormentor.

When exploring any new product, it's natural to ponder about the standout cards. The Egyptian God decks boast an extensive selection of exceptional cards suitable for various types of players. Let's now delve into some of the finest choices offered by these two releases!

Standout Reprints

The card generating the most buzz in the Egyptian God Decks, which had maintained a price above $10 for the past few months, is none other than the highly sought-after Harpie's Feather Duster. What makes it even more enticing is that Feather Duster makes an appearance in both Egyptian God decks, as a Super Rare.

Affordability? Check. Accessibility? Check. This reprint is truly remarkable and well-deserved. Feather Duster had previously been reprinted as a Premium Gold Rare in the Maximum Gold set about six months ago. However, even with its premium status in a substantial release, it remained relatively expensive. Now, after a considerable wait, it finally resurfaces in an effortlessly obtainable form that is guaranteed to look astonishing!

The Egyptian God Decks boast a plethora of impactful reprinted cards, and although not all of them are currently prominent in tournament play, many are highly anticipated reissues. Within the Egyptian God Decks, you'll find essential cards such as Pot of Avarice, Book of Moon, Monster Reborn, and Enemy Controller. Despite having been reprinted relatively recently, these cards still witness occasional tournament usage.

Book of Moon has experienced a resurgence in the competitive scene, effectively disrupting decks reliant on their Normal Summons. Meanwhile, Pot of Avarice proves to be a valuable asset in pure Zoodiac builds. Although these cards are already quite affordable, having extra copies at your disposal can only enhance your deck-building options.

Exciting New Cards

In each of the two decks, there are five cards that make their debut in the TCG, adding up to a total of nine new cards. Interestingly, one of these cards is present in both decks. These ten cards are meticulously crafted to synergize with their respective strategies, and some of them extend their usefulness to Winged Dragon of Ra decks as well. Among the shared cards in both decks, there is an inclusion of the formidable Quick-Play Spell known as Soul Crossing. This particular card holds significant power and versatility.

In the anime, both Slifer the Sky Dragon and Obelisk the Tormentor possess unique attacks that have been adapted into Quick-Play Spells within the Egyptian God Decks.

Obelisk's attack, known as Fist of Fate, not only nullifies effects but also annihilates one of your opponent's monsters when you have Obelisk on the field. Moreover, it continuously negates the targeted monster similar to the effect of Called by the Grave. If you activate Fist of Fate during the Main Phase, it grants you the additional advantage of obliterating all of your opponent's spells and traps!

On the other hand, Slifer the Sky Dragon's Thunderforce Attack obliterates as many face-up monsters your opponent controls as possible. Additionally, if you utilize this attack during the Main Phase, you gain the ability to draw a card for each monster destroyed. As Slifer's attack strength is contingent upon the number of cards in your hand, Thunderforce Attack, with the aid of the Extra Monster Zone, offers a chance to increase your Divine-Beast's attack by a staggering 6000 in a single move!
