SLAVES TO DARKNESS: OGROID THERIDONS

Ogroid Thaumaturges are powerful sorcerers aligned with the forces of Chaos, specifically the Slaves to Darkness faction, in Warhammer Age of Sigmar. These towering and imposing figures wield dark magic with devastating effect on the battlefield.

In terms of appearance, Ogroid Thaumaturges are massive, hulking creatures with bestial features, often resembling a blend of humanoid and monstrous traits. They are heavily muscled and armored, with twisted horns, claws, and other chaotic mutations adorning their forms. Despite their brutish appearance, Ogroid Thaumaturges possess formidable intellect and magical prowess.

These sorcerers harness the raw energy of Chaos to unleash powerful spells and curses upon their foes. They are adept at manipulating the winds of magic to cast destructive spells, summon daemonic allies, and twist the fabric of reality to their advantage. Ogroid Thaumaturges are often seen leading Chaos warbands into battle, using their dark powers to bolster the morale of their allies and crush any who dare oppose them.

In Warhammer Age of Sigmar, Ogroid Thaumaturges are a versatile unit choice, capable of both offensive spellcasting and close combat. They serve as potent wizards in a Chaos army, providing valuable magical support while also being capable frontline fighters. With their immense size and magical abilities, Ogroid Thaumaturges are a formidable presence on the tabletop battlefield, striking fear into the hearts of their enemies and furthering the goals of Chaos in the Mortal Realms.

You’ll find plenty of cosmetic options to mix up your Ogroid Theridons – the kit's shields, pauldrons, and axe heads are entirely interchangeable, as are the five different faces and five sets of horns. There are also five Chaotic sigils – for Khorne, Tzeentch, Nurgle, Slaanesh, and Chaos Undivided – to adorn the Thorakon's armour, and another five you can choose from to cap the Banner Bearer's standard.

This kit comprises 96 plastic components, and is supplied with 3x Citadel 50mm Round Bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly.
