The Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star is a single-engine, full-metal low-wing training aircraft designed in the United States.

The T-33 was built on the back of the F-80, with the interior surface remodelled and a second pilot's seat added.

T-33 manufacture concluded in 1959, with the first flight taking place in March 1948.

There were 5,691 of these planes produced. During firing practise, the T-33 was also employed as a shield towing plane.

The RT-33A was designed as a reconnaissance plane with a camera mounted in the nose.

The T-33 was widely exported, with Germany, France, Belgium, Brazil, and Canada among the countries that received it.
