TANKS MODERN AGE T-64 New
The T-64 is a Soviet main battle tank introduced in the early 1960s. It was designed to be a highly advanced and capable tank for its time, featuring several innovative design elements. Some of its notable features included a powerful 125mm smoothbore gun, composite armor for enhanced protection, and a sophisticated autoloader system which reduced the crew size to three. The T-64 also had a low-profile silhouette and a powerful 5TDF multi-fuel turbine engine, which gave it excellent mobility. This tank served as the basis for later Soviet tank designs, such as the T-72 and T-80.
